POGO Memorial
We were invited to participate in POGO book, showcasing their work along 20 years, The brief was kept simple; to design a building that reflects all their work, theoretical plot anywhere in the world.
Having found a close affinity between the requirements of the brief and the concept of a Memorial, we chose to propose a place for all the senses even incompatible things gathered in the same environment. The path of knowledge, meditation or religion is not free, only those who really wants or those who feels ready follows it. To access this space you need to "roll up your pants and wet your feet”.
POGO is an eclectic artistic association, probably the unique in Portugal that manages to bring together fine arts artists, actors, architects and even politicians to create and to discuss art.
